The lunar nodes move into Pisces and Virgo on January 11th. I have written a lot about the lunar nodes, and I taught a class about them moving into Aries and Libra last year. The nodes have been important placements in my journey as an astrologer, and are among my favorite astrological points to talk about (along with Pluto). Also known as the nodes of destiny, these are points along the moon’s ecliptic that represent the development of karma and dharma in our lives. The south node represents tried and true skill sets and preferences that in this lifetime we are learning to leverage, but not overly depend on, while the north node, always in the exact opposite house and sign, tests our mastery of new skills and willingness to face uncomfortable paths. Think of these points as places of evolution and reevaluation. There is grief there because we can’t just use the same old tricks that we always have, but also opportunities for significant accomplishment when we take risks and leave our comfort zones.

I just needed my birth time, but unfortunately my mom knew that I had been born around noon but didn’t remember the exact time. So I found a site to ent…
For the last year and a half with the nodes in Aries and Libra, we have been on a relational journey - the north node in Aries encouraging us to find ourselves and champion our own needs first, with the south node in Libra asking us to leave behind codependence. The nodes always move retrograde, so their transits tend to feel like tests and reviews, opportunities to take advantage of karma building a bridge between future and past. With the north node in Pisces, we can expect an emphasis on art, creativity, romance, spirituality, and nostalgia.
